Meet Zozzy, the Jersey girl with a “Cool Runnings” vibe.
Lauren Brzozowski is one of the hottest accounts on TikTok today, owed to her candid and humorous looks at the life of an Olympic hopeful.
Known to her 100,000-plus online followers and millions of viewers as Zozzy, Brzozowski had a break-out moment recently when she laid bare a truth about bobsledders — sometimes you have to do it “naked.”
Who is Zozzy on TikTok?
Lauren Brzozowski grew up in North Jersey. A 2015 graduate of Ramapo High School in Wyckoff, she focused on track and field in high school and at Elon University.
But, Zozzy transitioned to bobsledding after college and now trains at the Olympic and Paralympic Training Center in Lake Placid, New York.
Her TikTok account has long featured honest, self-deprecating posts about her struggles and successes in the sport.
One of her most notable viral moments came when she shared on TikTok that bobsledding sometimes requires athletes to “bobsled naked” — competing in nothing more than the one-piece tracksuit bobsledders wear
The sport operates under stringent weight limits for combined athlete and sled weight to ensure fairness and maintain optimal performance on the track. Athletes often have to shed unnecessary gear. Zozzy shared that making weight for one ride meant wearing nothing under her tracksuit.
The post endeared her to fans who appreciate the unfiltered approach to sharing the less glamorous aspects of her Olympic journey.
That’s included talking about injuries and setbacks — a broken foot and blood clots — and asking for help to meet the financial burden of competing.
Zozzy hopes to make the USA Bobsled team in the two-woman division for the 2026 games in Milan.
She was recently named one of three female pilots for the 2023-2024 IBSF World Cup season and has been competitive in her races, giving her a solid shot at making the Olympic team.
